Manchester Invited Cruise Staff Auditions
Princess Cruise Lines is coming to London to do Invited Auditions for a variety of Cruise Staff including Assistant Cruise Directors, Assistant Cruise Director - DJ, and our entry level positions, Junior Assistant Cruise Directors.
Here at Princess, we pride ourselves on delivering a fun, innovative and engaging entertainment product powered by a group of talented Cruise Staff. If you have entertainment experience hosting gameshows, sporting events, dance classes and more then this is the opportunity you've been looking for. Sailing to over 380 cruise destinations across more than 100 countries on all 7 continents, it's arguably the greatest job in the world!
Candidates must have experience from a related role in a resort/hotel, cruise ship or entertainment establishment. A college/university degree in performing arts, theatre or dance is an advantage. Job Description
Once the lines let loose and the ship sets sail there's a group of talented folks engaging with our guests to keep the energy up to the wee hours of the morning. That group is our cruise staff made up of Assistant Cruise Directors (ACDs) and our entry level position, Junior Assistant Cruise Directors (JACDs).

HERE ARE THE AUDITION APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSITION OF ASSISTANT CRUISE DIRECTOR:
1. You must have previous experience hosting events, activities, karaoke, shows or similar theatrical performances. This experience must have been in front of a live audience.
2. Candidates must feel at home on stage, capable of controlling their environment with strong microphone skills, engaging personalities and a memorable sense of humor.
3. You need to complete an "Introduction" video that is specific to this role and more importantly, specific to YOU! All details are listed below.
You must complete a video to be considered for an invitation.
"INTRODUCTION" VIDEO SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Your video must be a personal advert for your brand. Think of it like a video cover letter. While you will be answering some questions it should still feel natural and not like you are reading from a script. Please stand, try not to wander, and even if you stumble a little, we want all videos to be unedited and shot in one continuous take. We want you to answer the following questions on camera in ONE take. Try not to take more than 30-60 seconds per question.
1. Why does the role of Assistant Cruise Director speak to you?
2. What does the word Charisma mean to you?
3. Who do you look up to in the world of Entertainment and why?
4. Tell us a funny joke. Not rude, politically incorrect or vulgar, just a plain old FUNNY joke.
5. What do you know about MedallionClass? Tell us all about it (hint: you may want to do some research on this one).
6. Lastly, in less than 60 seconds, tell us why you will be the next amazing Assistant Cruise Director here at Princess.
Once you have completed your "Introduction" video please upload it to one of the recommended video websites listed on the next page. Copy the link to your work and share the URL in the DEMO section, also on the next page.
And remember, without the video, we won't be able to consider you.
