What We Do

At Princess Cruises, we do Entertainment right! Our dedicated shore-side and ship-board staff work hard both on and off stage to make sure your vacation has just the right mix of events, shows and activities to keep you engaged throughout your cruise experience.

Creative Development & Show Operations

Our signature Princess production shows transport guests to realms as exotic as the destinations we visit. Imaginative shows feature elaborate sets, captivating costumes, spectacular laser and pyrotechnic effects and state-of-the-art video projection technology Princess Cruises produces more than 35 different award-winning production shows, performed by some of the largest and most talented casts at sea. Crafted by some of the world's top directors, choreographers, designers and partnerships, they captivate audiences each night across the fleet. And with every season, Princess finds exciting ways to deliver something new so that you'll come back dazzled.
Our multi-talented dancers and singers perform in a variety of dynamic and visually stunning production shows and other piazza acts that are developed by top Broadway, West End and Music Industry directors and choreographers. Ranging from musical theatre to rock to popera, Princess Cruise Lines provides it's performers a wide variety of shows that utilizes every aspect of their talents while also challenging them to expand their skill sets.

Princess Cruises has a diverse lineup of exciting entertainers, from variety acts and headliner cabaret performers to comedians, providing thrills and laughs for our guests across the fleet.

Media Programming

Our onboard Media Program includes great moving and in-cabin TV. Catch a top-run show at Movies Under the Stars®, our giant 300-square foot poolside movie theater with a 69,000-watt sound system. Take in some of the finest cruise ship entertainment as the theater lights up the top deck day or night with feature films, thrilling concerts and exciting sporting events - including live football complete with tailgate parties!

Music Direction

Our top-level lounge bands, soloists, House Band musicians, and Resident jazz artists perform all over our ships, bringing a wide variety of live musical entertainment onboard. From the House Band in the main theater backing up shows and cabaret artists, to our acoustic soloists, to our Party Bands and Lounge groups, our music team gets the crowd in the groove!

The Voice of the Ocean

The Voice of the Ocean - a new spin on the #1 TV show in the world - comes aboard, complete with live performances, professional mentors, blind auditions, charismatic judges and the iconic rotating chairs. Watch guests compete throughout the cruise, and help crown The Voice of the Ocean as part of some exciting cruise entertainment.

Production Operations

Princess Cruises sets the standard for cruise line Entertainment with exciting shipboard positions for knowledgeable and professional technical production staff. Princess Cruises Entertainment venues are equipped with state-of-the-art, multi-million dollar technical systems. With elaborate sets, spectacular costumes, fascinating pyrotechnic effects, our lighting and audio systems consist of MA Lighting, Vari-Lite, Martin Professional, Flying Pig Systems, Green Hippo, Midas, Meyer and Apogee. Our stages are equipped with intricate Stage Technologies rigging systems consisting of lifts, revolves, serapid tracks and over-head line-sets. Our first class theaters and Entertainment venues await new staff ready to take part in this fantastic opportunity.

Youth & Teen Center Program

Our diverse kids programs offer every child what they need to spark curiosity, fuel creativity and inspire an active life. In partnership with Discovery Communications™, Princess has developed engaging new youth programming and wonder-filled center designs for cruisers ages 3 to 17. Our highly trained and certified staff work and play with our younger guests, from toddlers to teens, designing and implementing new program ideas, while ensuring the safety and supervision of all kids participating in the activities.
