Sailing to over 380 cruise destinations across more than 100 countries on all 7 continents, it's arguably the greatest job in the world!
Youth Staff are the center of onboard life for our youngest passengers by keeping them enthralled, entertained, and safe in the onboard Youth and Teen Centers. Princess ships have a variety of youth programs that are age-specific, including dedicated facilities for ages 3-7, 8-12 and 13-17. Activities are both fun and educational, including arts and crafts, games, sports, science workshops and much more. Individuals who are outgoing, fun, and have an interest in entertaining kids of any age group are a must for this position!
Candidates for Youth Staff must have a minimum of two years work experience in a youth-care-related or teaching field, or previous employment in a recreational or educational setting, such as camp counseling, coaching, outdoor recreation and/or community center. Experience with a variety of ages is strongly preferred, as counselors must be willing to work with any age group to which they are assigned. Experience supervising kids in a group setting is also strongly preferred.
